The presidential campaign of Obama had furnished Project Vote in 2008 with a list of donors who had given their campaign the maximum amounts of money as permitted by law. Hence Project Vote representatives contacted all those donors in order to urge them towards making contributions to the ACORN affiliate funds. In that same year, the Open Society Institute funded by George Soros gave Project Vote $400,000. Visit projectsyndicate.com to know more about George.
In order to help in winning the Presidential elections, there has been a massive mobilization in 2008. For this, the powerful Soros-affiliated ACORN dispatched approximately a million volunteers for working on the campaign nationwide. Out of these, 600,000 were in battleground states while 400,000 were deployed in non-battleground states. Additionally, MoveOn registered nearly half a million young supporters for voting in the battleground states. Another million young people were added to its membership rolls during the 2008 summer. MoveOn, as well as its members, contributed over $58 million directly to the Presidential campaign. Another $30 million was raised and spent in various independent election efforts that were made on behalf of other Democrats all across the United States. George Soros pledged $5 million to MoveOn in 2003.
George Soros is quite vocal in his beliefs. In fact, he has already stated that he has been chosen by The One Above to ensure that people get social justice. Hence he is going ahead and doing that. He believes that there should be democratic governments around the world and they should be answerable to the citizens. Hence he has taken his ideology to other nations too.
He believes that America is the root cause of terrorism. This is because they are not following human rights either in America or outside it. This is why he recommends that terrorists should be tried in civil courts and not military courts. This would enable them to get all the benefits that accrue to anyone being tried in a civil court.
